With Neos, you have the option to check in for free and conveniently online before reaching the airport. Instructions on how to check in online are provided below, to ensure you arrive at the airport with peace of mind
WEB CHECK-IN SERVICE
The web check-in service is free and can be used for bookings of a maximum of 9 people. It is available from 48 hours before to 3 hours before the flight's departure from Italian and foreign airports, where the service is available. Online check-in is available even if you have baggage to be checked. However, please remember that it is necessary to arrive at least two hours before your flight's departure time. You can then drop off your baggage at the Neos check-in counters.
The web check-in service is not available from and to the following airports: Hamburg, Amman, Bamako, Dakar, Dubai, Nanjing, Olbia, Point a Pitre, Prague, Turin, Rimini; and on the following routes: Milan Malpensa - Cairo and to/from Amritsar (India). In addition, the web check-in is not available for any return flight from Egypt to Italy with a foreign stopover (therefore not a direct connection) or if the flight origins from an foreing airport. We inform that the web check-in is not possible if the flight cannot be purchased through our booking systems.
All passengers departing from New York JFK Airport who have already checked in on our website, must go to the check-in desk to collect their printed boarding pass before going to security check.
Please be aware that the cabin baggage sizing machines can be found at the check-in desks and boarding gates of Neos. It is the responsibility of the ground staff to conduct compatibility checks between the passenger's baggage and the cabin boarding rules. In the event of non-compliance, the baggage must be placed in the hold at an additional cost.
The web check-in service for Secure Flight flights (Cayo Largo, Cancun, Havana, Holguin, Montego Bay, New York, Varadero) is available from 24 hours before to 3 hours before the flight's departure.
HOW TO CHECK IN ONLINE
To check in online, you need to enter the following information:
- Name, surname, PNR number or file number of the Tour Operator (in case the purchase has been made through agency or Tour Operator)
- Personal email address where you want to receive your boarding pass
- Then click on the LOGIN button
Select the route you would like to check in for from the FLIGHT INFORMATION box, and then proceed by clicking on the WEB CHECK-IN button. On the next page, in the passenger section, verify that the gender displayed next to the name is accurate. Then, select the checkbox indicating if the passenger has any dangerous goods. Finally, click on the acceptance button of the booked passenger. On the next screen, you will see your web check-in confirmation and seat assignment. You can change your assigned seat by clicking on the change your seat button and selecting your new seat on the map of the cabin. Click on confirmation to finalise the change. After entering all the necessary information, simply click on the go to the documents button. From there, you can download and print your paper boarding pass, or send the electronic boarding pass directly to your smartphone and show it at the gate using your device.
